What does HTTP 403 mean?
The server understood the request but refuses to authorise it.
Common causes and when you see it
The credentials are valid but lack permission, or the IP is blocked.
How to fix or handle it
Check roles and permissions, IP allow-lists and firewall rules. Re-authenticating will not help.
Test it yourself
Send a request with the online API tester, inspect the response with the HTTP header checker, or host an endpoint that returns 403 with the mock API generator to see how your app reacts.
